Chiropractic Radiology, Teleradiology, and Advanced Imaging Interpretation – Midwest Radiology Consultants

Established in 1983, Midwest Radiology Consultants is a radiology consultation service, based out of Lee’s Summit, MO, who serves clients nationwide.

What is a Chiropractic Radiologist?

A Chiropractic Radiologist, Diplomate American Chiropractic Board of Radiology (D.A.C.B.R.) is a chiropractic physician who has undergone years of extensive training in x-ray and advanced imaging through years of residency and fellowships. After successfully completing residency, the chiropractic physician is eligible to sit for an intensive two-part Board Examination that covers all aspects of diagnostic imaging. Passage of the examinations leads to diplomate status with the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology. Currently there are less than 300 chiropractic radiologists worldwide.

The American Chiropractic Board of Radiology requires specific continuing education hours in musculoskeletal and advanced imaging on an annual basis to maintain certification.

Chiropractic radiologists serve the profession in different capacities. Many will follow an academic path, including administrative, teaching and research at a chiropractic school. Some will provide postgraduate level lectures. Nearly all chiropractic radiologists have diagnostic imaging consultation services. In matters of personal injury, workers compensation and malpractice, chiropractic radiologists can give expert testimony and consultation.

How a D.A.C.B.R. Can Help Your Chiropractic Clinic?

Having a chiropractic radiologist on your team will help reduce your liability and free up your time to concentrate on patient care. A radiology report will help you increase patient education and confidence. Since a D.A.C.B.R. is a chiropractic physician, they can consult with you not only about imaging studies, but also concerning patient treatment and prognosis.

Our Radiology Specialties

Chiropractic Radiology

The radiologists at Midwest Radiology Consultants have been providing specialized chiropractic radiology services for several decades by providing evaluations of x-rays, MRI’s, CT scans and dynamic motion x-rays. At Midwest Radiology Consultants, we recognize that the accuracies of the interpretation of the scans will directly impact the treatment and timetables of your patient’s recovery. That is why our scans are read and analyzed by highly trained radiologists to ensure the highest form of accuracy is given.

Second Opinion Reports

At Midwest Radiology Consultants, we understand that having a second set of eyes on a problem is never a bad idea. That is why we offer second opinions on reports and explanations if your report has confusing terminology, or you believe that the tests did not accurately explain or analyze your patient’s case.

Teleradiology

With the ever-growing technological world, teleradiology is more crucial than ever. Provided a HIPAA compliant, secure internet connection is in place, the radiologists at Midwest Radiology Consultants can analyze your x-rays or scans quicker than ever to anyone in the United States. This allows a professional diagnosis and analysis from certified radiologists to be delivered as fast as possible, regardless of geographic location.
